certain spaces can get "dots" from the dispenser. Colored balls are kept to complete assignments but a clear ball loses all the balls. Players can get an opportunity to look at the opponent's assignment cards and can try to beat them to completing it. Different cards have different values and most points when all are used wins. (Rough idea.)
THE WILD WILD WEST! Didn't get the play. The gimmick is a turn table into which pictures of outlaws are inserted. When spun they end up against the rewards which vary from 0 to a high figure. (Felicia loves this one.)
THE CINCINATI KID. Didn't see this. It is a gambling game that E.S. Lowe is looking at. I asked what is the gimmick that will show up on TV. It is a special dice shaker.
Alan tells her that THE MAGNIFICENT RACE is very popular with his friends. Incidentally in his game THE CINCINNATI KID there is a built-in opponent, similar to the one in Parker's game, Felicia told me.
Felicia has two manuscripts (non-game) with Harvey Gardner of Fawcett. She spoke to him about me and AGOG. He likes it very much, but it is too esoteric for them. He might be interested in my doing something else for them. She asked about my contract with Pantheon. No problem. I said that I'd be glad to discuss it with him whenever she sets up a date.
She said she gets 10% on books. Fine with me. She asked about the article for "DAISY" Magazine. Told her that I was thinking about it, but I am somewhat discouraged. She understood. The gal at "Daisy" is on a long vacation so there is no hurry.
She said that a new client would be showing her a three handed CHESS game. I asked if it by Robert Zubrin. Yes. An important acquaintance of hers is a friend of Zubrin's father and he, the father, is coming to see her.
She asked if the game was any good. Yes - if there is any market for a CHESS variant. She agreed that none had ever been a success. She said that she was glad that I had come in. Also that I hadn't lost my interest in games. If I had, what would she do.
I asked about RUMMIKUB. It was promised by Moses Goldman
