Rcd. [received] a letter from Tony Mills. For the present they are not doing any more general books.

Rcd. a letter from Pelikan (see 8/9). They are sending copies of MOULIN ROUGE and TRAMP. They are interested in DARN CLEVER and FOREIGN INTRIGUE. They'd also like a copy of AGOG. Signed Mr. Rodimach.
Got a copy of AGOG in a jiffy bag, but didn't send it out to Pelikan. Decided to send DARN CLEVER and FREE FOR ALL in rudimentary models as soon as we get back from trip with the Laurences. I'll also ask in a letter whether the rules and a description of the material would be O.K. for a preliminary evaluation on their part.

Called Harry Lorayne and left message on his machine that I'll be out of town this Tues. [Tuesday] and Weds. [Wednesday] and that I'd call on Thurs. [Thursday]

Did some thinking on replacing the racks for FREE FOR ALL to cut the weight. A folder index card will do it.

for the end of the week but she thinks he makes promises he can't keep. Told her that he had called me a few times with questions.
Took the following games home with me: FOREIGN INTRIGUE, JACK POTS 6, OVER 'N OVER, TOGETHERNESS, TRAVELINE, TAKE-A-WORD, PROFIT & LOSS.
The only other game of mine I saw there was THE WINNING TICKET which she said to leave. And also SPACE BOXES.
Later I realized that the set of POP-SHAPE-AND-SHATTER should be back from Gabriel, the one with the plastic pcs. [pieces]

To Reiss. Harry Lorayne there and Bob Reiss joined us. Went over the rules I wrote and everything was O.K., except that Bob wants recognizing faces included as one of the sets of cards. I suggested cards with faces on both sides to be filled in on the 1st and 3rd rows and other cards with names on one side to be filled in on the 2nd & 4th rows. They liked this.
Jay ? came up with the idea of a cover with projections that fit into the 16 pockets. It can be held in place by hand as the board is turned over. That seems a perfect solution. (Jay seems to be their artist. We have spoken in the past.) (Jay Peterson.) Harry will write up a pamphlet using my rules as a basis, and will call me if he has any questions or suggestions. Bob said that the game would start selling in the first quarter of '76 [1976].
