1919 copyright on rules and 1904 copyright on a card.
With Phil and Annette <u>Laurence</u> played <u>FREE FOR ALL</u>.

of <u>PHALANX</u>, <u>CENTURION</u>, etc. while they were available; <u>CENTURION</u>

Call from <u>Claude</u>. Among other things, <u>Wald</u> is interested in a NYGA [New York Gaming Association]
meeting. I said to set one up and I'd probably make it - but later
told Claude that I just need a vacation from games, which is why
I was so unenthusiastic.
After the meeting at Reiss' <u>Harry Lorayne</u> wanted company while
he ate and I had coffee and a bran muffin. He said that since
his new book was to be on remembering faces he wasn't anxious
to give it away in the game. Since Reiss wants faces, he thought
of the idea of matching them with professions instead of with names.
<br>In the evening realized that with 8 faces and professions, it
will be much easier to "peg" the professions to positions instead
of tying faces to professions.
