<u>TREFFLES</u>, he has come across <u>John Stephenson</u> of Games
Gallery and <u>Alice McElhone</u>. I told him what I knew about
them. Stephenson may place it for a 35% agent's fee.
I asked about "Musical Chairs" (see 6/25). It is in a limbo-and he
is waiting to hear from them.

Bought a copy of the 7/14 issue of <u>THE VILLAGE VOICE</u> for
the article on <u>THE GAMES PRESERVE</u>. (Filed in M.G. folder.)
Using 8"x5" index cards - unlined pink and unlined blue -
made two "rack substitutes" for <u>DARN CLEVER</u>.
<br>Thought of an idea for a multiple game. One sets up the 4
symbols and the others try to be the first to discover them.
The first player turns a card and asks a question on the
location(s). He gets a secret yes or no answer. Each player
in turn <s>ge</s> turns a card and gets a secret answer. Then in
turn each player asks a question and gets an answer they
all hear.
<br>Made a new board - under 7 1/2" square - for <u>FREE FOR ALL</u> and a
set of pieces.
<br>Played in the evening with BB. O.K. with the smaller field.
