Call from <u>Art Tuite</u> (Ruth Wilder's friend). The tentative name | |||
of his game is <u>WAR AND PEACE</u>. It is played on a 9x9 field | |||
using 16 pentominos - the 6 symmetrical pcs. [pieces] and 5 of the non- | |||
symmetrical (don't know which he omitted) in each hand. As a puzzle | |||
object is to place them on the field, leaving one blank space. | |||
<br>As a game object is be the last one to place a pc. (war) or to | |||
cooperate so that 14 pcs. are placed on the field (peace). | |||
<br>Told him that it is interesting but that Parker put out <u>UNIVERSE</u> | |||
