Spent a few hours downtown. At Job Lot bought a 26-drawer small parts container - for $6.95; also the game 21 LETTERS - for $1.25. Across from Alexander's bought another bag of "lego imitation bricks" - for 69¢.
Mounted the new container on the south wall of the game room and did some minor rearranging.
At Job Lot also bought 10 colored pencils for 25¢.

Rcd. [received] a flyer for "Summer Con" from George Phillies of the "American Wargaming Association." Among the games to be played are TACTICS PI (16 players), STALINGRAD, DIPLOMACY, DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS, WOODEN SHIPS AND IRON MEN, PANZER LEADER, TRIPLANETARY, WARRIORS OF MARS.
Another flyer included on the "AWA." The publish THE AMERICAN WARGAMER. Reductions are available thru them on the following games: MANASSAS, STARLORD, NUCLEAR DESTRUCTION.

Rcd. a letter of from Howard Thompson of "Metagaming Concepts." Mentions review of STELLAR CONQUEST in S&T #50. Also mentions its upcoming rating in S&T, and STARFORCE.
He enclosed a note from a Victor Kay who was interested in a copy of AGOG.
