Bought 5 bottles of india ink for 35¢ each at the "110 Drive-In Flea Market," which the Horn's took us to: 2 black, 1 brown, 1 yellow, & 1 red violet.

Bought a duplicate copy of CONTACK - for 25¢.

Bought 40 small hinged plastic boxes at 2 for 5¢.

Bought 3 packages of colored unlined 3" x 5" index cards - 40¢ for 300 in a package.

Bought a duplicate copy of FITTING & PROPER - for 25¢.

Bought 12 sets of PICK-UP STICKS - for $1.00. (For the differently colored rods.)

Bought copy of GOOSES WILD - for 50¢ (or possibly $1.00).

Bought I SPY GAME - for 50¢. A few pcs. are missing.

Bought BIG BOARD [Daystar] - for $1.00. Some extra cards included.

Bought AMERICANA GOLF GAME - for 25¢.

Bought THE GREAT AMERICAN MARBLE BOOK - for 50¢.

Call from Ruth Wilder, an acquaintance of BB's. A friend of hers has made up a GAME that she thinks is terrific. She gave him my number - and hopes I don't mind. His name - Art Tuite.

[Avalon Hill] tried to buy WOODEN SHIPS AND IRON MEN without success; they will probably buy EAGLES from GDW and will probably buy are negotiating over CORAL SEA; they have bought the title STARSHIP TROOPERS from Robert Heinlein. News that Metagaming Concepts will publish a magazine THE SPACE GAMER and the first issue has, among other things, STELLAR CONQUEST variants. Plug for the game MERCENARY. Mention of GOTTERDAMMERUNG, THE PETAL THRONE, THE BATTLE OF FIVE ARMIES. Review of JAGDPANTHER (V3/#1) - among other things there are variants for THIRD REICH (A.H.) [Avalon Hill], WAR IN THE EAST, EL ALAMEIN, EAST IS RED, PANZERBLITZ, BAR LEV, CA, WOLFPACK, JUTLAND, MIDWAY, NATO, ETC.

Rcd. a magazine put out by Walter Luc Haas, BUMM #5. It is mainly in German, with short translations in English.
