Rcd. TOYS (June). New products showed M*A*S*H GAME by Transogram; FUN WITH ASTROLOGY by Consumer Service FAS.

Rcd. letter from Haar Hoolim. Enclosed rules for a simple Orda game BANKO, his own game LIVE AND LEARN, and his puzzle TURNOVER. In letter mentions LIVE AND LEARN, TURNOVER, FORCES, FOCUS, BANKO, UP WITH THE KING, DOUBLE, THERE AND BACK, FIND THE LINE.

Working on the letter to "Pelikan" a good part of the day. Finished it but BB had some suggestions. Will go over it again tomorrow.

At the Horn's Susan and her friend Michael played DARN CLEVER. Then Dave & I played. They all liked it.

At home played FREE FOR ALL with BB using the set I rcd. from Renwal but with spaces blacked out to reduce them to 49. Also eliminated the 9s & 10s of all colors. Each used 2 colors and object was to get a run of 4 in each of the opponents colors. A change from the original rules: when a piece is isolated it can move any distance; and I eliminated this privilege from the last 2 pcs. of a color.

BB didn't care for it. I didn't think it was too bad but I'll work on it some more.
