<br>114th Day - 221 Days to Come | |||
---- | |||
At "Two Guys" near Lakewood bought <u>ON GUARD</u> for $1.66 plus tax. | |||
Played three games of <u>DARN CLEVER</u> with <u>Phil Laurence</u>. He won 2 | |||
and liked it a lot. | |||
<br>With Annette & BB too, played 4-hand <u>FOUR-ARMED BANDIT</u>, using the | |||
holders. It worked O.K. | |||
<br>Played a second time using the dice. With a 7 can take any card, | |||
and if not at the end of an arm it is replaced at once. | |||
With a double use the chosen card on an opponent's holder. This didn't | |||
work out at all. Later decided that a double allows a player to | |||
take a card for himself and then, if he wishes, to take another | |||
for an opponent- or visa versa. This was somewhat more | |||
meaningful, but still not great. | |||
<br>At home decided to try the following "Lotsa luck" version | |||
next time: A 7 allows taking any card. A double loses the | |||
chance to take a card, but chips are collected according to | |||
the number - as a consolation. |
