Wrote rules for Lotsa Luck version of FOUR-ARMED BANDIT and BB added them to the previous third sheet - on both sets. Finished the box (using the spare MASTERPIECE box I had downstairs.

Thinking of some new ideas for the TV GUIDE GAME. Arrange the board so that the same denomination card for each suit is in the same relative position. After the cards are dealt each player secretly marks which suit he will aim for. The first player to play a card of a certain denomination wins that denomination - if the card is of his chosen suit. Possibly play for second could be allowed. Another possibility would be to prohibit a player from winning a number lower that one he already won.

This may be good for E.S. Lowe.

I asked about HIT THE JACKPOT and he said it was rejected by Ravensburger because "it was too obviously a steal from KALAN." He agreed that it wasn't so, but how do you fight it. He said that he'd try other German manufacturers. Also he was thinking of Invicta - but they are now selling in the U.S. I said to go ahead. He said that he wants more games from me. I said that he promised to get together and discuss the whole situation with me. He said he'd try to arrange it next time he is in N.Y.

The school that he will be connecte a dean in wants him to keep his connection with games; they see a connection between business and games. I told him that if the school wants the start of a game museum with a curator - I'm available.

give me copies of THE GREAT CITY GAME since he said that he has to make changes in the rules. He said he'd send me one of them. (There are games for London, Rome, Paris, and Washington.) Looked at THE CHICAGOAN GAME - completely luck.

Gave him a copy of my review of POLICE STATE. He liked it.
