MAY 1975 - FRIDAY 9
129TH DAY - 236 DAYS TO COME

Call from Jane Feder and then Fabio Coen. They want to leave out mention of Sonia from DELAUNAY. I objected, but not too strenuously.

Call from Mark Singer, who did the article for WORLD magazine in '73 - which included me. He is now working for THE NEW YORKER and is interested in doing a piece on me for "Talk of the Town." Made date for him to come here in 5/15 at 2 P.M. Took his number in case I have to contact him. [drawn bracket] Mark Singer
[drawn bracket] 695-1414 (New Yorker Mag.)
[drawn bracket] 924-4906 (Home)

Call from Fabio Coen. Alex Randolph there. He left the set of cards for HEISSE KARTEN with Fabio for me to pick up.

I asked him about the game that he mentioned that Parker of Germany was doing. It is called BASIS 10 and he'll have them send me a set. Invicta will be doing it in England with a different name.

Fabio said that it would be a few weeks before the color prints of BEYOND TIC-TAC-TOE! would be ready for me to check.

Alex and I agreed to write to each other (actually this was yesterday) and I'll get his address from Fabio.

Realized that I had forgotten to ask Alex for Tom Atwater's new address. In evening called his hotel and left word for him to call me.

Call from Claude after his trip to Canada. He saw a game JEU DE PAYE which we determined was PAYDAY. He bought a copy of TESTEZ VOTRE INTELLIGENCE (Pierre's) - which I have and CARTES A JOUER which I don't.

Dave Greenwald called him and would like to get together with him to discuss selling games. Dave gave him a number to call to try to get on the TV program "Blankety Blank." (But when he called they just told him to show up at the studio without any appointment.)

Wald had called and left a message that there was a meeting on Wednesday afternoon. I told Claude that it was probably with Bob Gellman.

Made date for 4 of us to get together on 5/16.
