MAY 1975 - WEDNESDAY 7

Rcd. a listing of newly published games from Rizzoli Book Store. Nothing on games that I could notice. (Discarded.)

Rcd. an impersonal note from "Skytrex Ltd." (J. Hammond and J. Walker) saying that "they would be in U.S.A. from April 20th to 28th and please contact them if I wish to meet them." Also enclosed a catalog folder.

Deposited 3M check in Dollar.

Sent $3 check to John Mansfield for a subscription to SIGNAL. With a short letter.

Wrote to William Linden with info on the two KGB games: THE SECRET FORMULA and THE DOUBLE AGENT.

Wrote to J.R. Attkinsson (see 3/31). Mentioned THINKING MAN'S GOLF, ACQUIRE, Roger Verhulst, Richard Moon, BOOK WORLD, S&T, PACHISI.

Wrote to A.I. Ainscough (see 4/19). Mentioned AGOG, HOLD THAT LINE, CUTTING CORNERS, PAPER BOXING, LAST WORD, THE, Lech Pijanowski, LAP, SKEDOODLE.

Call from Alex Randolph. He is in the U.S.A. to see about the game situtation here. He asked if my 3M royalties had fallen off greatly. His have. He can't make a living from his U.S. royalties, but he can from Europe. He'll call tomorrow morning about getting together.

(cont. from 5/6) [5/6]

Took three copies - duplicate - of MOVES #19.

Took the BLUE & GRAY quad game. The rules for SHILOH, ANTIETAM, CEMETERY HILL were there. The rules for CHICKAMAUGA were missing. There were two sets of the "Standard Rules."

At home looked at the box of Rand Games. All that was included was: 2 "chart sheets," 2 sets of "Tac Cards," counters for LEE VS MEADE; rules and counters for INVASION: SICILY; rules for SARATOGA: 1777; complete THE WAR OF THE WORLDS II; compelt complete OMAHA BEACH; map, counters, and two "Chart Sheets" for MISSLE BOAT, Rules and counters for CAMBRAI, 1917; Rules and "Chart sheet" for NAPOLEON'S LAST CAMPAIGNS.

Left for downtown in morning (for blood pressure test) before hearing from Felicia. Checked with BB and Felicia called after I left. Quite grouchy but did say that the meeting with Ron Weingartner was set for 5/14 at 2.

I didn't find her grouchy. Also we agreed that I'd come in at 1 so that she could play it be FOUR-ARMED BANDIT before he came. She told him that she had played and thought it was great.
