MAY 1975 - SATURDAY 3
123RD DAY - 242 DAYS TO COME

More work on board for FOUR-ARMED BANDIT.

To bazaar in Flushing with BB and Edith. All I got were some odd shaped plastic pcs. - a handful for 25¢, but I gave her 30¢ because I had a big hand.

Call from Claude. He is flying to Canada for a few days next week. If possible I'll pick them up them up and take them to the airport.

Played 2-hand FOUR-ARMED BANDIT with Phil Laurence. He liked it enough to play twice. I felt that the [drawing of three rectangles] bonus was a little too powerful.

Then played 4-hand and it was quite popular.

They said that they, including Elaine couldn't understand the rules for PUSHOVER. But when Phil told me their problems I showed him that the answers were clearly stated.

Gave them the copy of ACQUIRE that BB picked up this week (with the new rules). The reason they wanted it was that the one they have is the original with the larger box, and it doesn't fit in their bookcase.

Annette brought me the article from THE WALL STREET JOURNAL on MONOPOLY and ANTI-MONOPOLY.

showed some doll house variations. Shapiro said no and Andy left.

I showed POP-SHAPE-AND SHATTER. Played 2-hand and then 3-hand with Alan. He wants it sent.

Showed TRAVELINE and played a 2-hand game. He said "no."

When Shapiro left I learned from Felicia and Alan (who were discussing it) that Western Printing wants to look at SORCERER'S APPRENTICE and HIGH RISE (card version) again later in the year.

Alan mentioned something about feeling good about how the things he was working on were going. And Felicia said something about Dick Harris. I asked her what Harris is looking for and she said he told her not to say. (I didn't say anything more, but I felt screwed.)

Before this Felicia gave me a copy of CAR CRIB, and made a big deal of it.

After Alan left I talked to Felicia about the RUMMIKUB rules and that I would have to make some decisions that might change the game. She said that was o.k. (She also said that she would do it - write the rules - for me.)

Ed Schifman called her and asked her who he should tell inventors that come to him to contact in the different companies. The only one she told him was Keith Tuggle. Some time ago she told me that Ed had said that Aladdin
