Call from Felicia. She has to go to Boston today on a consulting job and Eric Naiburg is supposed to come in at 11 and she doesn't have his number. Told her that I'd try to contact him. She said to tell him that she doesn't want to handle his games (VECTOR and CARAPACE).

Called the Plan B number and got Naiburg's brother. Told him that Felicia won't be in today.

Call from Alan Newman. Felicia had left word for him to call her today. Told him that she was called out of town. He asked if I knew what she wanted. Possibly the Friday meeting with Gabriel (Barry Shapiro).

I asked and he told me that P. [Parker Brothers?] had returned his LONG DISTANCE - with a nice letter, Felicia said.

Call from Felicia early in afternoon - back from Boston. Told her that I had contacted Naiburg's brother and she said that her answering service had a call from his wife. She asked my opinion about taking $100 each for the two games. I said that I thought that he might be a little difficult; VECTOR is an excellent game, but I don't know if it is commercial; CARAPACE is not great.

Told her that Alan Newman had called me. She wanted to tell him about P/'s refusal (which he knew) and that she is showing HIGH RISE (board version) to Gabriel.

In Boston she saw Dr. Larry Nichols, of Moleculon Research Corp. (which is going out of business) (What was has consultation about?). I met him some time ago (I believe). He is an ardent MONAD fan and has bought copies for all his friends. He has (or is in the process) invented a GAME and Felicia gave him my address (and hoped it was o.k. that she did). He said he'd contact me about it.

I called Phil Orbanes and he called me back. The SOLITAIRE SLY puzzle looked fine to him, altho he didn't try it.

I told him that I didn't have the time now to do justice to the plugs for INFINITY, REALM, and SIX PACK. He said that he must have them by next Monday at the latest, and to do the best I can. Said I'd drop them off Friday - tho he won't be there then.

Started a final board for FOUR-ARMED BANDIT.
