20 SUNDAY - APRIL 1975
THIRD SUNDAY OF EASTER - 110TH DAY - 255 DAYS TO COME

To four bazaars with BB and Edith. Nothing at Flushing armory. At Waldbaum's parking lot bought 6 packages of "Western Printing" play money for $1. Also bought some post cards for Claude. At Bayside (Bell Blvd.) bought 3 books for 25¢ :- I CHING BOOK OF CHANGES, and two copies of "The Sacred Symbols of Mu" (one for Claude). In Yonkers bought a 14" x 14" x 10" carton filled [illegible strikeout] almost to the top with rhinestone jewels, buttons, etc. - for $2.00.

To the Horn's and played FOUR-ARMED BANDIT. O.K. When we got back - also before - BB and I were sorting the box of jewels, etc.

The entire meeting with Felicia went very smoothly.

To "Gamut of Games." Phil Orbanes out to lunch. Set up the SOLITAIRE SLY puzzle and asked the secretary to have Phil call me tomorrow with his comments on it.

To S.P.I. Got a "2nd request" from Richard Doolittle - about HARE AND TORTOISE and LONDON CABBIE GAME (see 3/24). From Howie Barasch.

Spoke to Redmund and he had a copy of KINGMAKER and he asked my opinion. Told him that I only looked at it since I wasn't reviewing it. Started discussing the matter of what falls in my province and what falls in Richard Berg's. Redmund will have Richard call me from there this Friday. Spoke to Jim D. and he'll also tell Richard.

Redmund doesn't mind if I review STELLAR CONQUEST, altho Berg has done it in #49.

Took 3 copies of S&T #49 and 1 of #46. Made copies of my column in those issues. Took a duplicate copy of GLOBAL WAR.

To Brentano's. Saw BEAT THE MARKET THE BIG BOARD again & confirmed that players start with $25,000.

Looked at DEAL-A-TILE, by Or Da altho another company may be doing it in the U.S. The tiles have cards. These are taken by the players in the same manner as Or-Da's SPELLBOUND and MATTIX. Various card games can be played.

Met a fellow "Don Hetsko" who is an S&T reader, and Friday visitor. He uses my column as a guide for non-war games he uses for relaxation. We talked, and then walked uptown together.

Stopped at F.A.O. Schwarz and he bought POPULATION. Nothing new to me. Left him there.

On 59th St. noticed that Riis Brothers was gone.
