18 FRIDAY - APRIL 1975
108TH DAY - 257 DAYS TO COME
Went over the galleys for BEYOND TIC-TAC-TOE!. Not many errors. Jane Feder called and I gave them to her. The "mechanicals" will be ready in a week or so.
CUE magazine had an ad for DOUBLE DUMMY - $9.95 from
[drawn bracket] Wapner Enterprises
[drawn bracket] P.O. Box #271
[drawn bracket] Langhorne, PA 19047
Decided to use yellow ships instead of green for $2 in BANDITO.
Looked at ACQUIRE question from A.T. Rehm. The answer is very clear in the 1966 version of the rules, but the changes in the 1971 made it unclear.

BB answered a call from Rolf Myller. He has found an agent, Sid Tepper (I believe), who only takes 30%. He'll call again for my opinion.
All evening while watching TV tried for solutions to the SOLITAIRE SLY puzzle. Did it once, but didn't record it. Dale tried it a little without success. [started 4/23]

above games (except GUERRILA) and also DIPLOMACY, CONFRONTATION,
STRATEGY, GO, KINGMAKER, KASER KASSERINE PASS, OVERLORD,
BAR-LEV, VERDUN. Also some interesting dice.
I gave them copies of CHARIOT, LEGION, SPARTAN, VIKING, & YEOMAN (altho I didn't have duplicates). Also S&T #47, 48, and 49, and a signed copy of the Castle edition of AGOG.
They had good meetings with Bob Gellman and Phil Orbanes and will be handling their games. They spoke to Jim Dunnigan but he said he has commitments to Malcom Watson.
John H. mentioned the following games as being interesting, but didn't say he'd send them to me: REFORMATION (pay money to move), STAGE (nuclear warfare), and MERCENARY.
It came up that P. of England [Parker Brothers of England] is putting out two new games this year: MEDITERRANEAN (which is ROME ET CARTHAGE) and AIRPORT. They looked at DDI's AIRPORT and said it wasn't the same.
