12 SATURDAY - APRIL 1975
102ND DAY - 263 DAYS TO COME

Rcd. a letter from Tony Mills concerning AGOG. (I don't think an answer is required.)

Made a board and set of 72 cards from BANDITO (a working title - since noone likes it). BB did the art work. Played with the Laurences. Played that when a jackpot was won the player who went before has to restart it with 5 chips. When the deck was used up a new phase began. A jackpot when emptied remained out of play. When there was no active jackpot next to a taken card the player can choose the jackpot to chip to. Phil suggested eliminating the restarting of jackpots and go to the second phase at once. At the beginning each player was dealt three cards, but this made it too easy to get an immediate jackpot. I'll cut it to one. I also allowed keeping up to three cards after turning in cards to collect a jackpot. I'll cut it to two.

worked out the scoring for sets. I suggested that a bid of 10 families up to 14 score double, and 15 families up score four times.

In answer to Dave's questions, I said that this was a good game. But to make the deck commercial he'll need a game specifically made to use the deck and one that can't be played with a regular deck.

We played 6-hand FOUR-ARMED BANDIT and it worked fine. They all liked it.

Played 6-hand SUCCESS. (See board in C.S. folder.) Each player starts in the "Poor House" with $300. throw 2 dice and move either one - also can move forward or backward, except that can't move backward passed "Poor House." With double, move 1 die or total, or can move to "Political Club" (see below). Player landing on a space can gamble - or may pas quit. If gamble, throw dice. If win, collect upper money amount from bank. If lose, pay lower amount to player on right or (R) or left (L) or to bank with neither. With "Move Again" either gamble or not, and then throw the dice to move, instead staying and gambling - or not - is desired. When a player lands on a space occupied by an opponent the opponent is "bumped" in the direction of the move. He pays the bumper the lower money value in the space entered. Lined up pcs. can be multiply bumped - each paying the bumper. Player landing - or staying - on "easy protection club" collects $1,000 from each player on "Easy Street." Any number can stay he Players can be bumped in or out of here. The first player to land, by count or with doubles, in "Pol "Political Club" is president and gets $1000 from bank and $10,000 from each player in "Political
