10 THURSDAY - APRIL 1975
100TH DAY - 265 DAYS TO COME

Rcd. TOYS (Apr. '75). Article that Invicta will be selling MASTERMIND in the U.S. Last year they sold over 1,250,000 in England alone last year. Articles on Nuremberg, Milan, Paris, and other toy fairs. Article on "Novus" and solid state games and toys.

Rcd. letter from Dr. Phillip Gaskell mentioning James Joyce, LABYRINTH, and a letter from Walter Luc Haas.

Laurie Horn came in. The game session at her office is very informal and other things, like yoga, will be included. She'll keep an eye open to see if I can fit in. Again, thanked her.

More work on game diary.

Call from Dave Greenwald. He has tried out a three-handed bidding game with his "Family Deck" and wants to test the four-hand. Discussed getting together with Claude and his friend Eric here on a Thursday or Friday evening. I'll check with Claude and get back to Dave.

I mentioned the TREFFLES deck and Dave said he had other games than the four I have seen.

Working on gaming diary. // Called Earl Perel and confirmed date.

Evening call from Jerry D'Arcey. Gave me a report on what has been happening with him.

It looks very much as if cadada Cadaco will be taking EYEWITNESS. Jim Rockwell was in California looking and Schaper may be taking FILLERUP. Dick Harris was in California looking, and M.B. [Milton Bradley] is considering KRABO.

Jerry has found a backer who is putting up $10,000 to manufacture TOP DOG - which will be renamed BONEHEAD.

3M is dropping REGETTA - which makes Frank Thibault unhappy. Jerry asked about getting a MAH JONGG card and we told him to try a stationary store. Dick Harris showed some interest in it.

Jerry was thinking about calling it THE FAMILY GAME (and putting family members on the tiles) but I told him about the D.D.I. game with that name.

After the call BB gave me her last year's card and also a newsletter of the Mah Jongg League - to send to Jerry. [started 4/9]
