23 SUNDAY - MARCH 1975
PASSION (PALM) SUNDAY - 82ND DAY - 283 DAYS TO COME
At various bazaars bought 40 strips with 25 plastic picture holders each - for $2; 2 green and 2 red ball point pens - for 10¢; 3 bags of buttons - for 75¢; 7 pads of 6" x 8 1/2" paper - for $1.00.
Call from Claude. Talked about visit to Dave Greenwald.
Claude is thinking of a gimmicky game GAME for Hasbro based
on THE RACE TRACK GAME that was in Martin Gardner's
column. He asked and I said I could get a repro of it for him.
Also told him about RACECOURSE and promised repros.
Visit from the Horn's. They brought me 99 (I am pretty sure) brass pin-on buttons with undecipherable, black inscription. Each was in a zip-lock bag - about 2 1/4" x 3" - and Dana said that he has been looking for small zip-lock bags. Told him that I'd check with Phil Orbanes next time I saw him to find out where he gets his.
The four of us played GET THE JUMP from SLY 6. O.k. but not great.
(cont. from 3/24) [3/24]

- Lou Clark - STARLORD. (Dated 12/1/74).
Made repros of M.G.'s column with THE RACE TRACK GAME and of the rules and sheets for RACECOURSE.
Played 500 RUMMY with dad & Ilka.
Rcd a letter from Keith Tuggle answering a Mr. A. T. Rehm, Jr. who had asked a question on ACQUIRE. He said that I would send Rehm an answer - but he didn't send me the question.
During day Ed Schifman called and gave BB a list of games for
me to check. No hurry and I can send info in a letter:
QUINTESSENCE, ARRAY, CONTINUITY, PENTAD, VISA VERSA, CONTRA,
POLARITY, TRANSPOR TRANSPOSIT.
He also asked if I could tell him my sources, so that he won't have to bother me.
Rcd. a package from Cadaco with THE SHERLOCK HOLMES GAME.
