Rcd. the rules for TRI-PLANETARY CONFLICT (TPC) and SPACESHIP STRATEGY (SSS), with a note from Rich Glaser. (see 3/7.)

Finished the rules for PROFIT & LOSS. Packaged it in flat pencil box.

Made the letter tiles for the new TAKE-A-WORD set. With the Sapersteins played a little TAKE-A-WORD. Later decided that more "red letters" would add to the fun. Made the following arrangement: Q4, X4, Z4, J3, K3, V3, B2, M2, W2 (these are the only letters with only one tile).

From other sources he has the following: small pawns in four colors; poker chips in red, yellow, green, white, and blue; "macaroni" in any color; horses in several colors; black plastic crosses; wooden cars and blocks that can be painted in different colors. (Took samples of most of these.

I asked which games he had already seen from Wexler that he liked (to avoid duplication). He mentioned CUPS and DRAGON (and there may be more that he didn't mention). I reminded him that both were by the Amberstones.

I asked and he said he'd like to look at the games in abt. a month.

While leaving the 200 bldg. I met Dick Harris. The conversation came around to my getting review copies of M.B. [Milton Bradley] - and E.S. Lowe - games. He gave me a card and told me to write to him.

To S.P.I. Took copies of PANZER '44 and MECH WAR '77. They were just in and a fellow put them together for me. He wasn't sure if they req'd a "simultaneous movement plotting chart." Took one but they don't.

Met Richard Berg (who is working on a game for S.P.I.) He has been getting a flood of war games since starting the "Briefings." One he rcd. is THE GAME OF YOUR FUTURE which is more my area. He'll leave it with Howie Barasch to give to me.

The English game CONFRONTATION came up and he'd like to see it. Told him that I had a duplicate which I'd leave with Howie for Richard.
