5 WEDNESDAY - MARCH 1975
64TH DAY - 301 DAYS TO COME
Call from Marcy Kubat (see '73 & '74). She was interested in getting a copy of VECTOR. Gave her Eric Naiburg's number and address and told her to mention my name, and to contact me again if he wouldn't help her.
Rcd. 6 copies of PUSHOVER from Aladdin - duplicates. Packing list included. (U.P.S.) Opened one & saw that the tiles were smaller that the original copy I rcd. - making it harder to line them up for pushing.
At a bazaar BB bought a copy of DODECA BASEBALL GAME for $1, taking the chance that I didn't have it. I do, but glad to get it.
Inked KLEE and completely did tear outs for SPRINGER and ARP. Call from Fay Hartog. They need my comments on the manuscript I rcd. yesterday for THE ART OF GAMES. Told her I was working on the diagrams but she said that this was more important. Told her I'd look at it tonight and bring it in tomorrow [illegible strikeout] in early afternoon.
Called Phil Orbanes and arranged to go there tomorrow afternoon. In evening went over the manuscript and found that Jane Feder had made some changes. Made notes in red.

me a part of his share. The game, Phil said, is based on CLUE. There is a bomb located somewhere on a ship and each player tries to locate it first. If noone locates it before a total of 60 turns, the bomb goes off and no one wins.
I asked, and Phil told me that Gamut's rep is "Pager Industries."
Al Zygier talked a little more about his TENNIS game. He'll show it to me when we both have more time.
Phil gave me the info on the Amway games. These were originally supposed to be called CHALLENGE 6 but since that name has been used, the new name is SLY 6 and the 6 games are called SNUGGLE, BLOCKADE, EMPIRE, GET THE JUMP, LINE UP, and SOLITAIRE SLY. He gave me a sheet with short descriptions of the games - but I don't have to follow them religiously.
The board will be the plastic REALM board, without the base, But I can make minor changes. The pcs. will be of 4 colors, each set having 11 pcs.: 6 squares, 4 triangles, and 1 cylinder.
Phil asked me my present fee and I said $15 an hour and he said that he figures I should take about a week on the project.
Amway will only keep the game for 2 years, after which it will go back to "Gamut." But he doubts if they will put out something that close to REALM.
The project has to be at Amway by the end of March so he'd like me to have it to him in about 2 weeks. I said I was busy, but that I'll try. He doesn't have anything on paper
