FEBRUARY 1975 - WEDNESDAY 26
57TH DAY - 308 DAYS TO COME

Downtown to Aladdin showroom. Spoke to "Bud Thomas." He said that a lot of buyers were interested in the line, altho not too much business was written at the Fair - which he said is usual. INTERSECTION is the weakest because it does not look like it is worth the money.

Looked at the TV ads for TOTALLY and INTERSECTION. Fair. One (I believe INTERSECTION) is supposed to be changed.

Took two ad sheets: one with INTERSECTION and TOTALY TOTALLY, the other with PUSHOVER and BARRIER.

Stopped in to say hello at G&R. Nothing new in games.

Stopped in to see Bob Gellman. He is busy writing up orders, and will contact me about getting together to discuss new products.

Saw the Canadian edition of PATTON and MACARTHUR, the box that is, and it looks good. Bob is hopeful that Waddington's will do them next year.

Maxine Brady's husband has a CHESS variation (which is connected to Bobbie Fischer (?) in some way) which Bob might be putting out. He'll show it to me some time.

Ran off a copy of a very nice letter on PATTON and MACARTHUR.

To "Gamut of Games." Phil Orbanes out and asked sect. to have him call me tomorrow.

To Summit Stationary (where I mentioned "Gamut of Games," but everyone gets 20% off) and I bought a ream of "Manifest Bond" to use for the drawings for THE ART OF GAMES. $2.60 plus 21¢ tax = $2.81.

To S.P.I. Howie Barasch three booklets with rules for DUNGEONS & DRAGONS. Made repros of them.

Took a copy of S&T #46 and made 4 copies of my column.

Bob Gellman said there was a possibility that the army PX's might put in a big order for HOLIDAY.

I mentioned the letter I rcd. from him on HOLIDAY on 2/5. He asked me to answer it and I said I would.

Rcd. a request from "Gamut of Games" for my Social Sec. #.

Rcd. two copies of a letter altering the advance in the book (THE ART OF GAMES) contract - with a note from Fay Hartog.
