Called Harry Lorayne. Brought up the matter of the 80-20 split and suggested 75-25 instead. He has to get permission from his business manager - and doubts if he can. Very pleasant otherwise. Set tentative date for Thurs. 2/20.

Called Bob Reiss. Not in and didn't call back.

Call from Wald. He wanted some info on copyrights for his girlfriend.

Rcd. a letter David Parlett on ZETEMA, G&P, RUMMY, MAH JONGG, and Bob Abbott.

POST had an article on Toy Fair. (Filed in '75 misc.)

Wrote up SPRINGER and started DELAUNAY.

Called Felicia and asked her to set up an appointment to show PROFIT to Ed Schifman. She said she didn't want to give any more "dogs" to Aladdin. I said that if she won't show it I'll get someone else to do it, and hung up. She called back and we made up. She'll set up a date.

SEI SHONAGON. Actually this first appeared in 1742 and the first Chinese TANGRAMS are dated at 1803. The 7-pc. dissection is as shown. Unlike [drawing of dissection] TANGRAMS, it can be formed into a square in a number of different ways.

The Xerox exhibit that Lilian Silver was organizing last year actually came off and Martin has a very attractive brochure from it. I showed Martin ORGANISMS and we played most of a game. He liked the play and also the connection to something different.

I dropped Graeme at the Woodlawn subway. We discussed my doing a column for G&P. They'd like at least 3 finished colums before starting and I said that the earliest I could have that ready was the end of March. The pay (I believe he said) would be £7.50. However he would be sending me material without deducting it from my payment unless it was an expensive item.

I told him that in addition to LOGICA, I am interested in the following that are mentioned in G&P #33: WORD AUCTION, CONTACT, HI-LO; and #32: XERXES, MASCO, CRISS CROSS, and TRADE.

He took the ORGANISMS equip't and I'll send the rules in March.

I brought up SPECTRA and, he said that the forced win could be eliminated by allowing movement before all pcs. are placed.

Not sure if I told him about the necessary deletion from AGOG introduction.
