FEBRUARY 1975 - TUESDAY 4
35TH DAY - 330 DAYS TO COME

Made a new drawing for ARP, using dashed lines and adding score areas. Made a new SPRINGER drawing incorporating the changes of 1/3 and 1/15. A little work on some of the others. Finished packaging JACK POTS 6 and covered the box with black contact. After BB typed the rules I added the illustrations for MIRO and JACK POTS 6. BB also typed VASARELY.

Call from Claude. He is home sick and he'll call the Rothman's to tell them he can't come tomorrow on Friday.

Wald contacted him that there is a meeting with HASBRO tomorrow. Claude wants to include Earl, but Wald said that HASBRO only wants about 5 games, so they don't need Earl. Since Earl didn't react to Claude's suggestion that he do some advance preparation, Claude didn't fight with Wald for him.

Claude checked at the 86th St. Marboro. they were out of WAR GAMES THROUGH THE AGES but expected more to be coming.

Betty Rothman called and cancelled the date for Friday.

many times he had played it. Only in his mind. We both told him to test it out with friends and try to have it ready for Stationary Show. I also said that if he definitely finds that he can't work it out himself, I find the idea interesting and would be willing to work on it for a share of the royalties. He asked what I thought of a game based on THE BERMUDA TRIANGLE and I said I felt its appeal is limited. (He was sent by Bob Gellman.)

Using the plastic cement I brought with me I fixed the model of SPACE BOXES, except for one or two of the small spacer pcs. that were missing.

She asked me to pick up the following catalogs, as well as my other game catalogs: Coleco, Fisher Price, Aurora, Hasbro, and Kenner. To 5th Ave. Bldg. but nothing doing on Toy Fair until next Monday.

To see Phil Orbanes. I asked about royalties on REALM and THE SIX PA THE 6 PACK OF PAPER & PENCIL GAMES. The report will be out the middle of February, but it won't be much. They have a new rep who should do much better in '75. However, the TV games and the magic kits are the strongest items. They won't be adding any new family games at all this year. // The feedback on my INFINITY redo has been excellent.

Amway has returned THE GOOD EARTH. Marty Kornblum is trying it elsewhere. But Phil is pretty soured on premiums.

I told him that I hadn't rcd. the war games from Bill Vega. He'll be going there this week and will pick up a set for me. He showed me the artwork for the SPY illustration.
