JANUARY 1975 - SUNDAY 5
SECOND SUNDAY AFTER CHRISTMAS - 5TH DAY - 360 DAYS TO COME

Long call from Claude. He told me about his meeting with HASBRO (see 12/30/74). they are talking about getting together in a few months to look at more games. They didn't want to have anything to do with royalties - as Wald suggested for his new GAME. HASBRO says that their "Jerry Lewis" games are doing well.

would do great.

The series of puzzles - LIFE SAVER, etc. - is also being returned - after all the work Felicia did for them on them.

3M will not be at Toy Fair tho Keith will be in town. Keith said that 4th quarter returns are down by about 15% to 20%, but haven't been totaled yet.

The gamettes are being phased out, but SLEUTH will be put into bookshelf.

Felicia asked him bluntly whether 3M will stay in the game business. He said definitely yes.

She wrote to Bob Johnson. She was diplomatic, but let him know that we didn't consider his new program as much of a "Christmas present for us." Also that unless something came thru, preferably FOCUS, she wouldn't be very cooperative in gathering marketing information for them. She mentioned something about the p&p games that I don't recall. Probably that she suggested that he considered doing them.

Also she will contact Springbok about LIFE SAVER, etc. Alan's B-O-C-Q came back from Aladdin.

She has a number of games from new clients (potential that is) including one called POWER PLAY, that she'd like me to look at. Arranged to come in tomorrow.

she asked about the money from R.G.I. and I said I expected a check tomorrow morning. She said that may be it would pay her telephone bill.

Called John C. Stephenson at the "Games Gallery" to check on his prices for INTELLE Intellect games. Same as I got from Steve Brodie on 12/27/74 except that CABBIE is $9.95. There is no charge for postage east of the Mississippi, and $1 per game west.

He said that he got one call from Marty Kornblum concerning the "Gamut of Games" games, but it was never followed up. I said that I'd definitely look into it.

He said that he was preparing a catalog of Adult Games and asked if I'd like to do some writing in the introduction - sometime in March. Yes.

He asked if I had access to any mailing lists and I said I had about 200 names thru my S&T column which
