12/22
DECEMBER 1974 - MONDAY 23
357TH DAY - 8 DAYS TO COME

On Saturday there was a P.O. card saying that on 12/21 at 2:30 P.M. a package could be picked not be delivered, and that I could pick it up Monday (today) after 8 AM. Jogged there but they couldn't find it. Made 2 telephone calls and went there again. The driver for p.p. route #2 (our regular deliverer) did not leave the card. He will try to locate the package.

Called Manny Lefkowitz and told him that I have THE MEMORY GAME ready to show him. He can't make it this Thurs. [Thursday] Bob Reiss will call me when he gets in to set up a date for Fri. (Manny won't be in on Friday). He didn't call.

Rcd. [received] an x'mas [Christmas] card from Alan & Ali Newman. BB sent one to them.
Rcd. [received] a letter from Leonard Willett on "gift taxes."
Rcd. [received] a letter from Graeme Levin concerning his visit to the U.S. for Toy Fair. Thanked me for the offer to put him up, but he'll be here for two weeks. Would like me to make reservations at Seville.

Sent cards to Mike Alber and Howard Wexler.

According to Tom, Hallmark will not go ahead with games unless the Ravensburg deal goes thru.

I mentioned that there are a lot of strategy type games in Germany that American companies can import. He said - "Yes you do have my catalogs." I kept quiet.

One of the Ravensburg games that Hallmark will do it LINGUA.

I asked about HIT THE JACKPOT. Ravensburg keeps promising an answer but he doesn't get it. The older head likes it but would keep his promises but there is a young fellow who
