DECEMBER 1974 - SATURDAY 7
341ST DAY - 24 DAYS TO COME

Started a letter to Walter Luc Haas.

Call from Bob Champer. He was at the library on East 23rd St. with "West Point Atlas of American Wars." He'll get xeroxes of the maps and I'll reimburse him. He'll call me next Thursday.

At a bazaar on Fordham Road bought WORD SHAKER for $1. In White Plains bought BAMBOOZLE and a package 47 plastic cars ($1.00 and 60¢.)

of PEARL GAME have each contacted them, but they have rejected both. (This when I asked him to remember my collection when an offbeat already manufactured game is submitted to them.)
Altho he hasn't read AGOG yet, he is familiar with FOCUS from THE SIXTH BOOK OF MATHEMATICAL DIVERSIONS FROM SCI. AM., which he bought in paperback, and thinks it is a great game - altho he didn't ask about publishing it.
He went through my library looking for books to get for his own.
We discussed the costing problem in TAKEOVER and we both made sketches (in Aladdin folder). They definitely want to put it out and are trying to find less expensive suppliers, including a card manufacturer that Felicia suggested.
I mentioned that I'd like additional copies of TOTALLY-- and INTERSECTION, but there is certainly no hurry. He asked what other companies gave me. Between 6 and 12. He made a note to send me at least 6 of each.
He will also send me copies of their "disclosure form" - and, at my suggestion, to Felicia too.
They are moving and he is getting a new telephone number. He'll send it to me and said to call him collect whenever I have anything to say or ask. I told him to call me whenever I could be of any assistance to him.
Drove him to 6th Ave. subway.

Rcd. [received] Holiday cards from Don Miller and Paul Greenough.

Rcd. [received] letter from Haar Hoolim. Mentioned STACK-UP, LOGICON, SCORE FOUR, and FOCUS. Enclosed a new set of rules for STACK-UP and a Canadian newspaper ad for TILT, SPLIT-LEVEL AGGRAVATION, SCORE FOUR, and DOUBLE CROSS (with pictures of each).
