6 FRIDAY - DECEMBER 1974
340TH DAY - 25 DAYS TO COME
Wrote to David Kribs about BEAT THE MARKET and S&T.
While looking in the basement BB came across the SUNKA board. She cleaned it up and I'll add it to the collection.

of 25,000 or more pays a dividend of 10%, for each share held by
any player, each time that company's color is landed on. 20% when
the space with the square. [illegible strikeout]
A player may borrow money, as long as it is not more than the
value of player's stock at that time. If paid back before the game ends,
there is no interest - otherwise 10%.
The game ends when 5 of the stocks reach "Real Value." Most money
wins.
Looked at DOUBLE CROSS again. The four players fields are 5x5, not
5x7 (see 12/5). With the window over the 13 space - its
starting position - the lowest hole of each of the arms is over
the center space in that field. There are 5 holes, not 4, in
the arm. Each player has a "funnel" which he places over the
hole he wishes before the "double-crosser" throws the die. If the
"double-crosser" throws a color, he announces the number he is moving to
before moving.
To 42nd St. library and looked at "The West Point Atlas of American Wars." Not too much there. Went to the "history and social science" library on 40th St. No promising books for WASHINGTON in either circulation or reference. Two microfilmed books might have something of interest but I didn't have time to look. "Battles of the American Revolution" (LAC 14415) "Washington the Soldier" (LAC 16555)
To Reiss. Spoke to Bob and he told me that Manny Lefkowitz would be working with me on THE MEMORY GAME. Spoke to Manny and tried to set up a meeting with Harry Lorayne before I did much work. He wants a model and I promised to have one for him Thurs. [Thursday] or Fri. [Friday] after x'mas [Christmas]. Gave him the receipt for the book ($8.59) and he said he'd have a check sent.
To Terry Seymour. She had the set of the 6 "Festival" jig saw puzzles that Dana asked for. Could only fit 4 in my case and, because of the rain, left the other 2 for another time.
To S.P.I. with my column. Spoke to Redmund Simonsen and Jim Dunnigan.
To save money they are printing the game rules in the magazine
and also are stapling in the board. (If there are not more than 2
inserts the mailing is cheaper.) Since my column does so poorly
in the feedback they can't devote even half a page to it. Also
the readers are asking for reviews of war games. Jim's idea is
