Call from Felicia. She called Bob Gellman about my picking up the FOCUS game there. She also mentioned the matter of PATTON and MACARTHUR in Canada and our willingness to let him take $50 off the top for expenses. He was indignant and said he could pay for an airplane anytime he wants. He also said that I brought up the matter of trying to get a higher royalty from Alfons Rubbens because of my splitting the my share three ways. I assured her that he had things backward - probably his ego was hurt.

Someone sent her the board for a game he calls BUSINESS & PLEASURE. It looks like a MONOPOLY imitation; he says in his letter it is much better. I said he sounded like a kook. She said the board looked quite professional.

Told her the following possible names for THE BRAIN GAME. SMART MONEY (o.k.); THE BEST BRAINS (she suggested BRAINPOWER instead); THE PERSONNEL GAME (she suggested PERSONNEL PLUS instead; PICK AND CHOOSE (no!!); DREAM TEAM (fair). She suggested HEADHUNTERS, or was it me?

She rcd. a rough draft of the NO WAY rules from Keith Tuggle. Also two of Alan Newman's games. He wants to go over them. I'll get mine next Tuesday.

Typed a letter to Elm Hill Games about ZZIZZ (which actually I wrote on 10/29) and mailed it.

Rcd. the letter that JoAnne sent to me on 10/28. It contained a letter from an AGOG reader who is interested in BASEBALL and FOOTBALL games. Also mentions MONTAGE.

Did some research and then called Ed Schifman. Told him of the names Felicia and I came up with for THE BRAIN GAME. Also told him that TAKEOVER (REG) was put out by Leslie Barnes Toys & GAmes Ltd., London, W.11 (N.D.). ENTERPRISE, copyright, 1961, The Enterprise Co., Stratford, Conn. THE GAME OF ENTERPRISE, copyright, 1975, The Hamly Press Ltd., 10161 - 112th St., Edmonton, Alberta. They still prefer ENTERPRISE, altho I tried to talk him out of it.

I came up with an idea for a visual way [drawing of PUSHOVER logo] of printing PUSHOVER and told him about it. He said it sounded interesting, but it is being worked on now and he'll wait to see what they come up with.

In TOTALLY I mentioned that 3 minute limit might result in poor scores. He said that he has played over 60 times and sometimes he can use all 15 in 3 minutes.

Pointed out the use of 4-15 is the illustration. It can still be caught, so I gave him my correction (which should have been given to Kelso by Felicia).

In INTERSECTION mentioned the meaningless parts carried over from my original rules. They have discovered this.

Discussed the ambiguities in the rules for his variation. He is aware of this and it will be changed. I brought up Shep's
