5 THURSDAY - SEPTEMBER 1974 248TH DAY - 117 DAYS TO COME

Rcd. an invite to his party from [bracket drawing] Stan Chess - with his new address, [bracket drawing] 218 E 81 St. [bracket drawing] 861-8048

Call from Jerry D'Arcey. He is trying to pressure Bill Dohrmann into moving on EASY COME - EASY GO. He wrote a letter which, among other things, said how much I liked the game. I told him to send me a copy of the rules and description of the material ASAP. He said he can get backing to put the game out himself if Parker doesn't move on it.

Frank Thibault's kids are crazy about the game.

Call from Felicia. HONORABLE RELATIONS came back - and it was post marked Tues. of this week! It looks like it has been played, but is still in acceptable condition.

She mentioned that Parker would be coming to see her during October. I asked if she was intending to show HONORABLE RELATIONS. She said that Bill Dohrmann (and also Dick Harris) say that my games are good, but too abstract for them. I mentioned the line including MASTER MIND that Parker was planning. She said she didn't know when that would be coming out - but she'll check. And if it is alive she'll suggest HONORABLE RELATIONS.

From the article in INCOME OPPORTUNITIES (see 8/19) she has rcd. many letters. Three items she has kept to show me are: PRESSURE - "Unique game of strategy." COMMAND DECISION - "Strategic war game." JET PILOT JET CAPTAIN - This is from the one who wrote the original letter to the periodical.

M.B. [Milton Bradley] has sent back Alan Newman's ASSEMBLY LINE (which I never saw). No covering letter yet.

I mentioned that I would be seeing Alan tomorrow, so I'll give him the bad news.

With BB to Claude's. Made plans for trip next Thurs., Fri., and Sat. Wald and Claude will be getting together with John Lawless to discuss products for '76. Wald seems to think that he will have them work on other things than games.

Wald had suggested an even split on additional money from their two games and Claude had agreed. So they are splitting the $300 Wald rcd.

Called Alan Newman to confirm date tomorrow and to tell him to bring some things for me to look at.

In my talk with Felicia she said that Parker [Parker Brothers] wanted to look again at is RIGHT ANGLES.
