SEPTEMBER 1974 - MONDAY 2 LABOR DAY - 245TH DAY - 120 DAYS TO COME
Wrote for "Stock-List" of books from BIBLIAGORA, as mentioned in G&P #27 (See below.)
Wrote to Desmond P. Spittlehouse (see 8/31) but decided to wait a week or two before getting it out.
Started a letter to Haar Hoolim.
My letter to BIBLIAGORA, 1a Whitton Waye, Houslow, Middx., England:- Gentlemen: As a collector of games and books on games, I would be very interested in receiving your "Stock- List" - as advertised in issue #27 of "Games & Puzzles." Thank you, [signed] Sid Sackson
Started looking at the games for my "Art Game Book." Played DELAUNAY with the Horn's. Barbara loved it and Dave liked it a lot. Used the rule that when a new section is started it must be next to an already colored edge. After this, play must be next to a space colored in this new section.

DIALEMMA (too much time setting up and too many loose pcs.);
THE WORM TURNS (no); GROOVE (no); TOGETHERNESS (he'll
investigate manufacture of domino shaped wood pcs. and let me

model to see if it can be priced out); TANGLED WEB (he
loves it but doubts if it can be priced out - kept it to try).

solution sheet. They are also set up to make wood squares
easily - such as for FIFTEEN 15 and 34 SKIDOO. He doesn't want
any more number puzzles, and pre prefers not more that 16
squares. He'd consider word games, but doesn't think they
sell too well.
He asked how I was doin For the "bookshelf" games they are
interested in games like SEDUCTION, and CHUG-A-LUG,
COMPATIBILITY, etc. They are also interested in a "mystery"
or "spy" game. Also any "good games" will be considered.
He's like things for 1975 by the end of October, but would consider things after this.
He asked how I was doing and I said that after a slow start -
quite well. He
He heard that 3M is trying to sell out, I said that I've been hearing it for at least 5 years. He said that last year they were approached about buying the line. He heard the 3M p&p line is dying. Their own is not doing too well. I
