Changed the starting arrangement of the organisms in ORGANISMS. Played with BB late at night - which might explain her difficulty on catching the rules.

Call from Manny Lefkowtiz. They are interested in next year's line and want plastic puzzles, wooden puzzles, and possibly a party GAME. Made date for 9/3 at 2 P.M. I'll bring some things to get an idea of what they do and don't want.
Did some preliminary looking and came up with DIALEMMA, HABITAT, THE WORM TURNS, TOGETHERNESS, and HOLEY TERROR, and GROOVE. I believe that EVEN WORSE is at Felicia's.

Call from Felicia. Arranged to go to Waterbury, Conn. [Connecticut] in connection with the biblical herb garden this Friday.
Keith Tuggle called her last Friday and left a message for her to call him, which she did - collect. 3M, will after further testing, have decided to drop Alan Newman's TIC TAC OH NO and AMAZING (but the advances don't have to be returned). Alan (who is back from his vacation in Canada) agrees that these were not great. Alan's other 4 contracts will still be possible, depending will be honored (but will they issue the game?).
Alan liked my suggestion for changing the starting position in SPIN-PONG.

Called Claude and told him that I had spoken to Earl.

Looked at the new set of UNITED STATES AUTO CLUB AUTO RACING GAME. There are differences in material from the set I rcd. [received] on 6/27/72 Decided to put everything into one box - except one of the boards, which are identical. (The spare box and board put in basement.)

NEW YORK Magazine (of today's date) had the following classified ad: EXPOSURE! A board game that combines friendliness, sensuality, touching, and fun! $4.95 check of m'order [mail order]. A. & S. GAMES, 108 West 74th Street, NYC 10023.
TIME Magazine (of today's date) had article on TV games. (Filed in 1974 misc. [miscellaneous])
