to talk about it. I tried to convince him that I wasn't the
to talk about it. I tried to convince him that I wasn't the
right one to do the shop drawings since mechanical and
right one to do the shop drawings since mechanical and
electrical knowledge
electrical knowledge was involved, but he doesn't know any one
else to do it. There is $1500, or possibly a little more, in
it for me, if I do it. Left it that he'd call me when he gets back from Xerox.

Call from <u>Howie Barasch</u>. He asked me the manufacturer
of <u>4000 A.D.</u> and <u>STARLORD</u>.

He rcd. <s>a copy</s> copies of the "Statis-Pro Games" (what I later
found out were) <u>UNITED STATES AUTO CLUB AUTO RACING GAME</u> and
<u>MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL GAME</u>. Tho they weren't sent specifically
to me he'll hold them for me.

Call from <u>Felicia</u>. She rcd. a call from Allaire Urban Karzon of
<s>All</s> Aladdin, who called to say she rcd. the contracts
(<u>TOTALLY--</u>, <u>INTERSECTION</u>, <u>PUSHOVER</u>, and <u>THE BRAIN GAME</u>. She is
putting the checks in the mail tonight. Felicia told her that
I would be very happy to get the check as soon as possible (or
something like that). Karzon said that <s>sh</s> they wanted Mr.
Sackson to have a clear mind to make up a lot more games for them.
She has played some of the ones they have of mine and likes them
a lot.

Felicia asked if I was submitting games to Aladdin other than
thru her. <u>Keith Tuggle</u> told her that heard that I was (??).
I said that I hadn't and that the only one I planned to
was <u>TRANSFORMATION</u>, which I had created specifically for
<u>Tom Atwater</u>, when it was returned from Stancraft. She said
that she wants all of my games to Aladdin to go thru her.
She'll give Atwater the commission. I said that I respected
her feelings in the matter and would see that Atwater didn't
submit it to Aladdin. Also that perhaps they could split commissions -
such as 15% and 15%, with 70% to me.

The fellow who sent the original letter to <u>INCOME OPPORTUNITIES</u>
(see 8/19) contacted her. He has a game <u>JET CAPTAIN</u>, which
allows the players to make some of the decisions in flying
a jet plane. She doubts it she'll handle it.

<u>Alan Newman</u> is picking up some <u>GAME</u>s for me in Canada, on
his vacation. (How does she know? Card from Alan?)

Rcd. letter from <u>Haar Hoolim</u>. Enclosed a letter he had sent to
<u>JOURNAL OF RECREATIONAL MATHEMATICS</u> and which was returned
marked "Moved, not forwardable." I'll have to check with <u>Martin Gardner</u>.
Mentions <u>STACK-UP</u>, <u>TURNOVER</u>, <u>JOINING</u>, <u>CROSSOVER</u>, and <u>DOUBLE</u>.
He enclosed complete rules for <u>DOUBLE</u>.

Called <u>Tom Atwater</u> and told him not to send <u>TRANSFORMATION</u> to Aladdin.
Suggested the 15%-15% split and he said that would be o.k. He has
