Rcd. [received] the game ROLLER-LAND CHECKERS.

Rcd. letter from Bernie Lane. Claims he couldn't get thru to me and wants me to call him Thursday.

Rcd. NOST-ALGIA (Aug. '74, #172). Phil Cohen gives the rules for Alex Randolph's OFF COURSE - from ESQUIRE. Also two annotated games of LINES OF ACTION. Betza gives rules again and a discussion of COLUMBIA CANNON CHESS (CCC). Also a variation - CCC CHESS.

In a "Publishers Central Bureau" booklet saw ads for there was a large section of "Dover Books." (Filed in '74 misc.) Among other things - COIN GAMES AND PUZZLES by Maxey Brooke which (I believe) is the same as FUN FOR THE MONEY, and TRICKS, GAMES AND PUZZLES WITH MATCHES by Maxey Brooke.

thing about. It may be one that a fellow in California made up and wanted me to look at. Or that might be a different GAME. Tom said he'll send me the rules.

Call from Claude. He went to see "Shirt Poket "Shirtpocket Games" about WATCH (Thru G&R). They were too tied up in the things they have to come out with anything new. He met a Mr. Becker, who used to be with Lakeside (Jerry D'Arcey dealt with him). Becker seems to have some connection with Shirtpocket, but he is also an agent, like Wexler. He was interested in WATCH, but would change the presentation and the name to DANGER. He wants 50%. Claude is trying to decide whether to deal with him.
Claude heard from Earl. Made a date for Earl to come for supper (which Claude has to change). No mention by either of Hasbro. Also no word yet on RIP-OFF, etc.
