10 FRIDAY - MAY 1974
130TH DAY - 235 DAYS TO COME

Rcd. a letter from Carol Peterson. She enclosed a letter
from an ACQUIRE fan and her answer. (Decided that the
best way for me to answer is by sending a repro of my
G&P article in #11.)

Finished drawing up MIRO and then did DELAUNAY and ARP.

(cont. from 5/12) [5/13]

WILDERNESS CAMPAIGN, and SOLOMONS CAMPAIGN.
Made repro of the 7/58 Martin Gardner column for Phylis Saperstein,
who asked for it Saturday. Also may [made?] 5 more of each of the
"art book" games.

Before going to S.P.I. I went to "Gamut of Games." Took the last
two of my expansion files and gave a $9.00 check to Carrie.
Phil Orbanes was out. Also took a copy of BACKGAMMON B.C. and
an extra My WORD! Also took 12 of the empty small boxes.

Call from Claude and more talk about our date Friday.

Did a little more work copying the German SPECTRUM board.

Thinking a little about making SPRINGER into a board game, with
square pcs. that are put together in a random fashion.
[drawing of an arrow pointing up and one pointing down] [Started 5/13]

Rcd. letter from Phil Cohen. Sent me rules of JET CHESS.
Mentions Ralph Betza and S.K. Howard.
The sheet of paper has what looks like a repro of notes on
various CHESS variants on the other side. Think I have them all,
but I am not sure.

During day to R.G.I. to tell Bob Gellman that Graeme Levin had not
rcd. HOLIDAY and PATTON. Not in and left word for him to call me. (He
didn't.)

In my talk with Jim Dunnigan he mentioned that "Liberator Games,"
[illegible strikeout] (I think that is the name) collected money and never sent games.
Bob Champer is involved with them.

Gave Felicia her check for MACARTHUR advance.
