He told me, when I asked, that they did <u>THE SIGMA FILE</u> and
<u>THE LONDON GAME</u>. He is interested in <u>GAME</u>s to publish, and also
to license on the continent. We agreed that it is best
that I work through <u>Graeme Levin</u>. I said that it couldn't be
anything that is being done in the U.S. since those are <u>Felicia</u>'s
all the way. He said the "theme" games are what is wanted in
England. Strategy games are bigger in Germany. European
manufacturers in general feel that they have to water down a game in
order to have it done in the U.S. <br>

Looked for my <u>SKYSCRAPERS</u> model as a sample for the new one. Realized
that it is still at 3M. <br>
Came up with an idea for getting over the corner to corner race problem
in <u>SPRINGER</u>. Put small triangles at the outside corners, but not at
the 4 corners of the field. The ones at the centers of each side are  
darkened. To win must reach darkened triangles on at least 2 sides.
 
Made repros [reproductions] of the <u>NO WAY</u> rules and two more of the sheets, at
Boston Road.
 
Called <u>Dick Landman</u> at Carter-Hall. Not in. Said I'd call again
