APRIL 1974 - MONDAY 15
PATRIOT'S DAY (MAINE & MASS.) - 105TH DAY - 260 DAYS TO COME

Rcd. [received] a short letter from Graeme Levin. Nelson sent him an advance check made out in my name. He returned it and asked for one made payable to G&P.

Called Leonard Willett a few times and finally went there to have him redo part of the return. Gave him check for $90.
Claude called while I was out, about a possible date with Earl tomorrow at the Metropolitan Museum tapestry exhibit. At his suggestion I called Earl. Earl and Claude will probably go, but I said that I wasn't up to it.
Earl said that they still haven't heard from HASBRO.

Started the second sheet of SHAPE AND SHATTER solutions.

The answer of HIT THE JACKPOT will come in Sept. [September], not at the end of this month - from Otto Maier. Otto Maier may be interested in having me translate some game rules for them. Actually they will give me a rough translation and my job will be to "Americanize" them. Tom thought that $15 an hour is reasonable, and he refused an agent's fee.
Herb Jacobs, who used to be the head (above Jim Goldsberry) at Hallmark, is now with "April House." He will decide whether to go into adult games, other than the "Sports Illustrated," by this Sept. "Creative Playthings" may be moving into adult games in a few years.
Alex Randolph has rcd. [received] the rights to his games back from Stancraft. Tom is surprised that I haven't. He'll contact Mary Hilt.
Tom asked if Felicia had ever shown anything of mine to Gameophiles. No, but I've known Charles Wibel for several years and he never seemed interested in my games.
He asked about Mag-Nif and I told him about the problems
