Discovered that Leonard Willett had not handled my regular deductions in the most advantageous way. Called him a number of times during day. The last time he was out and left word with his answering service for him to call. He didn't.
Rcd. [received] a letter from Tom Atwater. Mentioned Bob Johnson, TRANSFORMATION,
HIT THE JACKPOT, Mary Hilt, the tax info, and my opinion of a
game SLIPPED DISC. also an upcoming book by I. Wallace and his
son, which he thinks I could be involved in - both as an entry and a
research assistant.
Rcd. [received] THE GENERAL (Mar. - Apr. '74 [March - April 1974]). Article on GUADALCANAL; gives a
rules for GOLD RUSH!!!, an OUTDOOR SURVIVAL variant; article on
PANZERBLITZ; article on BATTLE OF THE BULGE; article on BLITZKREIG.
Called Howie Barasch and asked him about IMPERIALISM. He has it there for me.
