Call from Bernie Lane. On upstate gal, Mrs. Lilian Silver,
had an idea for an exhibit on puzzles and Xerox will
do it next January. John Rasor of Xerox wanted me to prepare
puzzles that the public will be able to solve using push buttons.
I told Bernie that I could be available to work on it and he'll
contact me with more definitive info.
He mentioned that Mrs. Silver had gotten some info on puzzles
from Martin Gardner.
Bernie suggested that a GAME based on starting your own
mail order business might be quite topical. He'll send me
some magazines trade magazines that should give me ideas.

Letter from Phil Cohen. He rcd. the repros from
GAMES WITH PENCIL & PAPER that I sent him. He asked for
the names of the other games in the book. Asked if I had seen
Ralph Betza yet and suggested that he might be interested
in copies, and had a Xerox available.
Call from Bob Champer. I wanted to postpone our meeting till
late tomorrow but he couldn't make it. Left it at 10 A.M.
and stayed up till 1 A.M. finishing the MACARTHUR rules.
Call from Felicia. Her new client Steve (didn't get second Radash saw TRIPPPLES and thought that it looked just like
name)
VECTOR. Told her they were completely different.
He had an abstract game RUNAROUND (working title) that she
thinks is fun. There is a lot of luck involved.
He is impressed with me and would like to meet me.

Nancy Rosen of American Publishing spoke to her yesterday and
may be in next Tuesday.
Dorothy Shapiro was fired from Brentano's - on return from vacation.
