APRIL 1974 - FRIDAY 5
85TH DAY - 270 DAYS TO COME

Long distance call from Roger Verhulst (he didn't
receive the letter I sent on 4/1 yet). The editor of
the NEWS is interested in a pc. on me. Roger will be
coming to N.Y. on other business the week of 4/15. Made
date for 4/19 at noon, but he'll call earlier in the week.

Call from Felicia. She was writing to an I - S shareholder who
is a wargame buff, and she didn't know how to spell
MACARTHUR.
2nd call. She heard from Nancy Rosen of American Publishing.
Nancy is anxious to look at things and Felicia
suggested showing her SHAPE & SHATTER. I suggested
PUSHOVER and asked if they are intersted in puzzles. Yes -
there are two PUZZLEs that Felicia originally contacted
them about. [Nancy said they were interested in toy oriented
games (which neither of us knew the meaning of)]. I
told Felicia about my puzzle EVEN WORSE.
Nancy will try to get to see Felicianext week, but it
may be impossible to arrange. I'll call her after returning
from Leonard Willett's on Monday to see if I have to bring the
stuff to her.

Made the missing piece for EVEN WORSE and added a solution to the box booked
with the Laurence's played INTERSECTION, first 2 hand me and
Phil and then 4 hand. They liked the 4 hand even better.
Annette wanted to keep playing it.
Played HEX-MATCH with Phil and he liked it. Showed him
EVEN WORSE and he said it was impossibly difficult.
