Rcd. a letter from Phil Cohen together with the
rules for PARTON CHESS. In letter he mentions TROMINO GO,
Ralph Betza, 100 SQUARES FOR CHESS AND DAMANTE by Parton,
SEMI-CIRCLE CHESS, GAMES WITH PENCIL AND PAPER.

At a bazaar bought a gross of flags (6 countries) on
cocktail toothpicks. Also 5 sets of DEVIL'S DICE, a knock off of
INSTANT INSANITY, at 10 [cents] each.
At another bazaar bought 3 large boxes of "Design Blocks"
by TinkerToy, at $2.00 each.

Called Earl to speak about his meeting with Claude and Wald
who were there. They cut me short.

Played INTERSECTION with Al Richter and then the four of us
played STEPPING STONES. Played partnership with one partner
starting at each end. Played a second time with the players
at each end switching colors.
Gave Al a repro of the parts of GAMES WITH PENCIL AND PAPER
with new material. He said he could easily run off repros
to return to me - at his Saturday job. I said I'd appreciate
having them if it was no problem.
