19 TUESDAY - MARCH 1974
ST. JOSEPH - 78TH DAY - 287 DAYS TO COME

BB brought SKYSCRAPERS to Felicia and WIRETAP to ESQUIRE.
Barbara Heine wasn't in and BB left it - without getting the
repros I asked her to get.

Spoke to Claude. He had an unpleasant meeting with Wexler
yesterday. He was supposed to bring MACABRE (I believe)
but brought something else instead and had to call Jaquie to
bring the correct game - holding Wexler up from supper. Wexler
started complaining how hard it was to sell abstract games.
Wexler last year showed Claude a game with ping-pong balls
dropped in slots with the idea of making 3 in a row. It didn't
play and Claude suggested making the field larger and playing
for 4 in a row. This later became M.B.'s [Milton Bradley] CONNECT FOUR. When
Claude mentioned the occurence Wexler denied that it had
ever happened.
Made date for Claude and Anne to come for supper Thursday.
Called Earl and he'll come Thursday too.

Rcd. a short letter from Alice McElhone. Mentioned the dodeca-
hedrons she was supposed to send me, Martin Gardner, ESQUIRE,
and TRIPPPLES.
Rcd. a letter from Graeme Levin covering almost all of the
points in the AGOG contract.
