15 FRIDAY - MARCH 1974
74TH DAY - 291 DAYS TO COME

Call from Felicia. No word from Harold Frankel by noon, when she left for the day.

Call from {u>Phil Orbanes He has moved and his new address is:
{66 Polo Lane
{Westbury, N.Y. 11590
{(516-333-8546)
Mannie told Phil that maybe 3M had the right idea with their low price p&p games. Maybe Hoi Polloi will put out a set for the supermarkets too. I asked Phil about the original 5 - WORDPLAY, etc. They are still selling and Phil thinks we should make as much money this year as last year.
Rand Games has their first game, LEE VS. MEADE ready and Phil will send me a copy.
When Jim Dunnigan and the others at S.P.I. rcd. [received] the ad folder from Rand they started writing vicious letters to various government agencies and to the Rand Corp. David Isby stopped a letter from Howie Bariseli to the latter.
Phil asked me to be sure not to let them know that David Isby or Phil are connected with Rand. Actually Phil introduced the various people but, because of his commitment to "Gamut of Games," he [illegible strikeout] has no part in the company. I told Phil that everything that anybody tells me is considered confidential unless stated otherwise.
Phil said to tell Jim, if I am asked, that Bill Vega sent me a copy of LEE VS. MEADE.
Carl Eisenberg looked at the files at the printer's - who does printing for Hoi Polloi and for Rand - and found out the info on Rand. Phil is afraid that Carl may try to use it for his advantage.
Carl is very unhappy at Hoi Polloi. He told Phil that he had an offer of a job from A.H. [Avalon Hill]

Call from Claude and Earl from Earl's apt. Nothing specifically on games.

(cont. [continued] from 3/16) [3/22]
