MARCH 1974 - THURSDAY 14
73RD DAY - 292 DAYS TO COME
Rcd. [received] two copies of the game 5-5 together with a letter.
Rcd. [received] card from Eric Nielsen. At present he has pretty much lost
interest in games. (No answer req'd. [required])
Call from Felicia. she sent a letter to Keith saying that we were
sending him PENTHOUSE. Told her it was SKYSCRAPERS. 2nd
call saying she had sent a correcting letter.
Call from Mickie Mackay. Someone had contacted them about
a game called BUNCO, the one with dice - not the one with
cards. They wanted to check on its origin. The only thing I
could find was the mention in the book FUN AND GAMES, by
Margaret Mulas (which I don't have).
I asked her if Ira Mothner's article in COSMOPOLITAN had come
out yet. She said she'd check and call me back. Did. Not in
the mag. [magazine] yet.
Call from Bob Gellman. Told him I'd call him early next week.
Two more calls from Barbara Heine of ESQUIRE with questions about
the games. She said thet FITTING & PROPER was in. Told her
that I'd get WIRETAP to her next week.
Call from Claude. He suggested that I call Earl because of his birthday (actually Tuesday). Did. Nothing specifically about games with either of them.
