2/7 FEBRUARY 1974 - TUESDAY 26 SHROVE TUESDAY - MARDI GRAS (ALA., FLA., LA.) - 57TH DAY - 308 DAYS TO COME

Sent two copies of AGOG to Tony Mills, Thomas Nelson & Sons, Ltd., 36 Park Street, London W1Y 4DE in accordance with Graeme Levin's request. One airmail ($2.90), one surface ($.21).

Call from Felicia. She asked about Eric Naiburg and VECTOR and CARAPACE. She may have a company interested in it. Told her I had written him to call me.
She spoke to Ken Anderson of Atech Enterprises (she called it Open End-??) and they are interested in adding to their line. I passed it and they had sports items and a space game that has been around for a long time.
She likes what Aladdin has done with TRIPPPLES and wrote to them concerning new games, mentioning me. I told her that Alice McElhone told me that they were looking for games and Felicia said she spoke to Alice.
3M is interested in LUXURY LINER. So are a few other companies. Felicia said it was a race game with some realistic features, such as tailwinds, etc.
Since I said that SPEED DASH!! had some interesting features she wrote to Zena Gelman about it.
Alan Newman brought her another batch of p&p GAMEs, including a solitaire. I mentioned that Keith Tuggle had told me that he will look at my games during Stationary Show - Felicia said she was sending out Alan's games now.
I will return the material on ENTREPRENEUR, EXPLORATION, CONQUEST, WILDCAT, and BREAK THE HOUSE next week.

Rcd. [received] a book catalog from "Zeitlin & Ver Brugge" on rare books of science. Only thing of interest to me was a book DAS SCHACH-ODER KONIG-SPIEL which also has a section on RYTHMO-MACHIA. (1617 - $3,750) (Filed info in '74 misc.)

Sent Phil Orbanes the page on auto BACKGAMMON from the Pressman catalog. Also a check for $285.26 as I-Q's cut on WORDPLAY, etc.

Steve Brodie here with the following "Intellect" games: CABBIE, FRENCH CHATTER, SPANISH CHATTER, and STOCKBROKER. The latter must of been used as a display sample. Some pieces parts were glued and the rules were missing - but I had the ones that Graeme sent me. I'll probably be able to make due do with it as is. Showed Brodie S&T #42 and then gave it to him.

Call from Claude. At May's he saw three Israeli games at $5.95 each: Q-SETS, BARRICADE, MATTIX. Checked and I have complete info on them. Decided not to spend the money. Claude heard from Earl about a stag NYGA meeting this Friday but Earl wasn't sure if he felt well enough. I called Earl and he'd like the meeting, but would prefer to play for fun rather than games we are working on seriously. He'll contact Bob Abbott. I called Claude back later. He'll contact Wald if he can.
