JANUARY 1974 - THURSDAY 31
FIRST U.S. SATELLITE ORBITED 1958 - 31ST DAY - 334 DAYS TO COME

Call from Florence Adam, who got my number from
Jim Dunnigan. She is an art teacher and has an idea
for a series of art kits with snob appeal. After determining
that she wasn't a nut gave her Felicia's number.

Call from Felicia. The inventor of MINEFIELD is willing to
split royalties if I can improve the game enough to get
Owens-Illinois to take it.
Felicia is cleaning her cabinet prior to Toy Fair. She has a
model of FACTOR which she was going to throw away (Jake
Williams has left N.Y.) but I'll take it. I'll also take
DISHABILLE (which has been there since 1971), some material
that Odette Willis left (for me when Felicia was finished
with it), and some othe rummage.
LOTTERY has been seen by D.D.I., Parker, American Greetings,
and Schaper, and M.B. and Hallmark didn't want to
look at it. At first she wanted me to keep it take it
but then decided to keep it just in case.
She decided not to try to handle FERRET.
She heard from Bob Johnson. He won't be in first week
in February. He may be in during Toy Fair but it
is very indefinite.
I'll still get FOREIGN INTRIGUE and THE BRAIN GAME
ready by Toy Fair. She said she has other clients
working on money GAMEs.
Told her that there has been a pad game called
THE NAME DROPPER GAME. (She asked for the manufacturer
and later I found it was Price, Stern, Sloan in about 1967.)
Florence Adam called her and Felicia liked her. Florence
is coming in at 10:30 on 2/5. I'll come in then to meet
Florence and to take the things.

2nd call from Felicia. She was waiting for a call from Bob Johnson,
about something else but she wants to be able to talk to him about
FOREIGN INTRIGUE. We reconstructed that he had mentioned that he'd
like to see Sid's ESPIONAGE. This of course was someone else's and
Felicia said they once had an option on it. She also has Andy Luftig's
COUNTER INTELLIGENCE and another game DOUBLE AGENT. (See '73.)
She threw out models of INDIAN CHESS and RED, WHITE, & BLUE before
she spoke to me before.

Started a letter to Graeme Levin.
Sent a copy of AGOG to Robert [???]

time a player played. I suggested that a play on a ? allowed
asking all players for the same character. We also decided
to allow points for 2nd. (10 pts.) and 3rd (5 pts.) identification
of the murderer. Played this way, but it is still a game of
complete elimination, rather than deduction. I suggested elim-
