of the "conferences." Made a set of 3 cards each for
the first four spy names. Will need the next two also -
since I intend the game for 6 players. Prepared a set
of 48 assignment cards out of the existing 60. Arranged
to have cards removed so that there are 8 per player regardless
of the number of players - from 3 to 6.
Wrote short cards to <u>Jerry D'Arcey</u> and <u>Frank Thibault</u>.
Rcd. [received] card from <u>Gini Scott</u>. Mentioned <u>HOLIDAY</u> and (I believe)
<u>THE RIGHT CONNECTIONS</u>, and that Skor-Mor and 3M are considering
some of hers. | |||
<br>Rcd. a short card from <u>Jerry D'Arcey</u> and from Odette Willis -
with Lucien Vittet. {<u>Odette Willis</u> [address]

<u>OH FUDGE</u>, <u>CHOCOLAT</u>, <u>HOLIDAY</u>, <u>S&T</u>, <u>PATTON</u>, <u>THE RIGHT CONNECTIONS</u>,
<u>FITTING & PROPOER</u>, and <u>SIMULATION/GAMING/NEWS</u>.

<u>BILLIONAIRE</u>, <u>GRAPPLE</u>, <u>FLUSTER</u>, and <u>BOGGLE</u>. Mentioned <u>BOOK WORLD</u>.
Sent card to <u>Mary Hilt</u>. Mentioned <u>ODD OR EVEN</u>, <u>Richard Moon</u> & <u>S&T</u>.
Call from <u>Bob Abbott</u>. <u>Graeme Levin</u> has placed Bob's game of
<u>EPAMINONDAS</u> with Philmar <s>(spelling?)</s> on a 50-50 basis.
<br>Graeme has also found a publisher who wants to do
<u>ABBOTT'S NEW CARD GAMES</u>, but Stein and Day want it to be
handled thru them. | |||
<br>Bob is working on changes in <u>ELEUSIS</u>. Each player can play
I believe that wrong ones are left in place, similar to <u>DELPHI</u>.
A player making a mistake takes a penalty of extra cards. I
pointed out that this still won't remedy the problem of a player
who knows, or thinks he knows, the rule but doesn't have the
cards that fit. | |||
<br>Bob would like to come up with something original in games
but at present is only working on refining the games in
his book, including <u>BABEL</u> - with the thought of a revised
edition. | |||
<br>He played <u>SIGMA FILE</u> with a Mensa group and they like it.
He found that often there was no incentive to do anything.
