21 FRIDAY - DECEMBER 1973
PILGRIMS LANDED 1620 - ST. THOMAS, APOSTLE - 355TH DAY - 10 DAYS TO COME

Red. a card from Stan Chess and returned one to him. BB had previously sent one to George and Dorothy Bredehorn including Stan.

Moved the piles of books from the west shelf of the game room upstairs to the new shelves. Didn't put them in subject order, instead putting them in groups with multiples of 5 - and usually 10 - in each group. (Actually did this yesterday and the following today.) Went over the books on the east shelves in the game room - fairly thoroughly - and moved those that haven't been cataloged upstairs.

Dana picked up an 1974 for me at Trooties.
(Gave it to me as a present.)

Ordered the bins from Sears (See 12/20).

Wrote card to Jim Scully. Mentioned PATTON, HOLIDAY,
THE RIGHT CONNECTIONS, FITTING & PROPER, and ACQUIRE.
Wrote card to Paul Greenough. mentioned the same five as
above and also REALM.

Call from Phil Kaplan who was here last year with a
puzzle he called TACTICS (see 8/25/72), which was later
called KING SOLOMON'S DIVERSION. He has a new puzzle he'd
like to show me. Made date for 12/26 at 8:30. (His telephone
number 787-3849.) (Later learned name - JIGSAW MOSAIC.)

He'd like to get together again at S.P.I. but I pointed out that
with all the people around he hadn't wanted to show his
EPAMINONDAS. He said we could meet at his house --

I mentioned seeing the article from DIVERSION with the mention
of WHAT'S THAT ON MY HEAD?. So far he has rcd. two orders
because of it. Actually he had the info included before checking with
Games Research. They are out of the game - Bob has about 10
of his own left.
The German version was put out by "Spielclub". They would
like to transfer the game (EGGHEAD) to "A.S. Publishers" which is supposed
to be a large company. Bob's German agent would rather that
