345TH DAY-20 DAYS TO COME

Finished the S&T column with SCARNE'S ENCYCLOPEDIA OF GAMES
and a mention of the price for HYPERCHECKERS &
HYPERCHESS.
Rcd. NOST-ALGIA #164. Phil Cohen has some more on CROSSINGS
Bill Rawlings discusses SCOTTISH CHESS. Ad for SEMI-CIRCLE CHESS.
Betza has COLUMBIA CANNON CHESS (CCC).
To Brentano's. The president went on the warpath again and no more
demonstrations. Dorothy Shapiro was very upset about it.
She introduced me to Jeffrey D. Powell, President of "Teaching
Concepts, Inc." He is familiar with my column and doesn't think
his games would fit. He asked if I could come up with some
games for them. They are looking to expand and will consider
submittions from other than those in teaching establishment.
He gave me a folder discribing READ AROUND, SPACE HOP,
SUPER SANDWICH, CIRCULATION, FRACTION BROTHER'S CIRCUS. Also a card.
Bill Tyler also apologized. When I told him that only one copy of
THE RIGHT CONNECTIONS was left he brought up a big pile.
He asked if I had contacted "University Creations Inc." yet.
No. He spoke to them and they are interested in hearing from
me. As well as INVEST and ROADBLOCK they do SOLAR BASES.
They are not the same as "Teaching Concepts Inc." as Dorothy
told me on 12/5.
Helped a clerk sell a copy of HOLIDAY to a man who wanted a family

Looked at STAMP COLLECTORS GAME (Itemation, N.Y., N.Y. 10001). 60
stamps are provided and up to 6 can play. Each gets a

players ever need the same stamps. There is a board that
allows for trading, auctioning, and getting new stamps
into the game-each player starts with 5 (I believe)
stamps, picked at random, and a certain amount of money.
A player wins when he completes his card of 10 stamps.
(Rough idea.)
Saw that correct name of the Skor-Mor game was
5IVE STRAIGHT.
To F.A.O. Schwarz. Didn't see anything new. Took a catalog.
