29 THURSDAY - NOVEMBER 1973
333RD DAY - 32 DAYS TO COME
Call fro Felicia. Our royalty checks for FITTING & PROPER,
etc. were mailed yesterday - she learned from speaking to
Bob Johnson. He has been too busy to look at SPECTRUM and
HARDHAT yet. Also he doesn't want to see any more things
until further notice.
Called Dorothy Shapiro and she called me back. Told her that
the following games that they have at Brentano's are mine:
ACQUIRE, EXECUTIVE DECISION, VENTURE, MONAD, SLEUTH,
HOLIDAY, PATTON, FITTING & PROPER, and THE RIGHT CONNECTIONS.
Also told her that I didn't see any SLEUTH and some of the
others seemed low. She said she'd try to see that they
were all there for my demonstration on 12/10. But she
can't promise because Bill Tyler doesn't give her a free
hand in ordering.
Cut some additional pcs. of plastic for 3D BOXES. BB started
painting them in 4 different colors. Two of the "flourescent"
colors she bought yesterday at Penrods were unsuitable and
I drove to Al's for regular model paint. Also clay for
setting the pcs. upright for painting. She finished late in
evening.
Spoke to Claude about date tomorrow. He asked me to
bring the ECLIPSE model.

my games except VENTURE. Talked to a few people and sold
a copy of THE RIGHT CONNECTIONS (the last) to a very pleasant
lady who wanted it for her father in the hospital.
Dorothy wanted me to come back as planned next week but
I cut it to Tuesday and Wednesday.
I asked Dorothy if she had the address for "University Creations"
and she called Bill Tyler and to ask him and he said he'd like
to meet me. Before going up I saw Bob Gellman, who just
came down with an improved order from Tyler for PATTON &
MOVIE MOGULS. Pointed out CHESS DICE to him.
Up to Bill Tyler's office and he was very pleasant. He told
Larry that I was one of the most prolific game inventors.
He mentioned GALAXY GAZER and said I was doing something
for them. I thanked him for telling Beck about me, but he
was only interested in learning who did 3M's art.
Bill said that sales in the store were down, which is why the
president is uptight about the demonstrations. Catalog sales,
however, are very good.
Bill gave me a card for contacting "University Creations."
It is run by a Ph. D.
